Economic and statistical analysis of modern state of retail trade in Russia

An analysis of modern state of retail trade in Russia has been performed; retail trade turnover dynamics the Russian Federation in 2011–2016 is given. Dynamics analysis of retail trade turnover in Federal districts allows to characterize the state of retail trade in a regional aspect. The structure of retail trade turnover formation in various business entities, problems and prospects of chain retailing in Russia are examined. Timeliness of the topic stems from the fact that trade industry is the fastest growing sector of economy and it is trade industry as the end link in economic activity of market participants that provides an efficient satisfaction of consumers’ needs.
