Features of policy of import substitution in modern conditions

Due to the imposition of economic sanctions against Russia from the USA, the countries of the European Union the question of import substitution in the industry, agriculture, financial and other sectors has found special relevance for our country. Have found reflection of work the main advantages and faults of the policy of import substitution pursued by the Russian Federation now. Branches in which it is necessary to realize policy of import substitution are defined by a method of system approach, the analysis, synthesis, methods of scientific abstraction, on the basis of statistical data. Authors have carried out the analysis of structure of import in Russia. On the basis of the carried-out analysis it was offered as priority branches for import substitution to allocate branch of mechanical engineering, engine-building, the medical industry and pharmaceutics, the easy and chemical industries as the share of their import makes about 70–80%.
