Internal and external factors of higher education in Russian Federation: statistical analysis

The aim is a statistical study of higher education, which allows you to identify the main trends in the dynamics of the process under study; determine the trend in the short and medium term; to link the processes taking place in the educational environment to the needs of society for qualified specialists. The article used the methods of statistical analysis of the higher education system. The study identified the main trends of development of internal and external environment of the system of higher education since the beginning of the 90s of the twentieth century to the present, which helps to develop measures to improve the industry. Scientific novelty of the work is an attempt to correlate the demand for educational services from the applicants and the demand for graduates by employers.
