The 21stcentury is characterized by the processes of transformation of all spheres of public life. Of particular concern to the authorities and government, as well as to the general public are the issues of protecting the constitutional rights of Russians in connection with the growing threats of an international and domestic nature to the realization of the right to a decent life, including the limits of its implementation. The purpose of the study is to analyze the problems of realizing the right of Russians to a decent life as a primary social human right in the context of new globalization challenges of our time and the current state policy of preservation of people. The search for ways to effectively implement this fundamental right, which acts as a target for the social state, proves the relevance of the declared topic, and therefore the author's interest in it is fully justified. Materials and methods. Methodological tools are selected taking into account the proposed research topic. Scientific methods made it possible to characterize the right to a decent human existence as a philosophical and legal category. Private scientific methods made it possible to analyze the problematic aspects of the realization of the right to a decent life as a constitutional human right based on the disclosure of the essence of doctrinal provisions, basic international and Russian legal acts, and the practice of their application. Study results. The study suggests that the problem of the reality of human right to a decent life is the goal and task of the modern Russian state, primarily as a social one. In our country, within the framework of the implementation of the People's Preservation Strategy until 2050, a set of interconnected and interdependent measures is systematically being carried out, primarily of a socio-economic orientation, which, among other things, is aimed at improving the standard of living of Russians. Conclusions. The right to a worthy human existence since ancient times has been the object of historical and philosophical research. It has not lost its relevance in the 21stcentury. In modern Russia, there is an understanding and awareness of the fact that the problems of realizing the right to a decent life are a strategic vector of the national conservation policy pursued by the country's government. Head of the State V.V. Putin noted that saving the people of Russia is the highest national priority.
