Education as a subject of investigation of crimes against minors

The requirement for the effectiveness of investigating crimes against minors presupposes the establishment of circumstances indicating how upbringing was carried out. This makes it possible to identify not only the signs of the crime that are significant for the investigation, but also to determine the most optimal tactics by adhering to which it is possible to obtain full knowledge of the criminal event that took place. The purpose of the study is to determine the importance of the parenting process for investigating crimes against minors. Materials and methods. In the course of the research, a wide range of methods were used: general scientific (dialectical, synthesis, analysis, deduction, induction) and special methods of criminology (situational modeling, system-activity). The study used the experience of investigating crimes against minors, and also took into account the positions expressed in the specialized scientific literature regarding solving the problems of identifying and establishing the circumstances of crimes of this type. Results. In the course of the study, it was revealed that completeness, comprehensiveness and objectivity of investigation of crimes against minors is impossible without establishing all the circumstances indicating the specifics of upbringing that took place, which contributes to optimization in establishing the events of the committed criminal act. Conclusions. To ensure completeness of investigating crimes against minors, one of the circumstances that must be established is the victim's upbringing process. This makes it possible to understand and justify the crime that took place, as well as to determine the tactics of investigation and conduct of individual investigative actions, primarily the tactics of the victim's interrogation.
