Index analysis of manufacturing industries in re-industrialization aspect

The article presents the main results of analysing re-industrialization potential in the Russian Federation on the basis of 11 indices obtained by normalization of basic indices characterizing the state of manufacturing in the period 2005-2016 in Federal districts. The present work is sequel to the study of reindustrialization theory and practice aimed at increase in performance efficiency and competitiveness of the Russian economy. The economic policy currently being implemented in the Russian Federation does not promote reindustrialization, namely increase in performance efficiency of manufacturing activities on a qualitatively new, modernization basis. The tested methodology can be used to assess the potential for reindustrialization both for individual regions and for the Russian Federation as a whole.
