Functions of spiritual and moral factors in the course of institutional changes in the Society

The relevance of the study is caused by the fact that there are contradictions in interpreting the functions of a spiritual and psychological factor in the concept of genesis and evolution in informal and formalized institutes of the market system. In this regard the article is aimed at giving grounds for the functions of the spiritual and moral factor in changes in capitalism institutes, its impact on social and economic relations. Methodological approaches and methods made it possible to characterize the essence of business people activities which manifests in the course of institutes changes. Some spiritual and moral prerequisites for changes in institutional structures of different societies are revealed and proved. The origins of incremental and discretionary character of changes and subsequent divergence of economic development of these societies are substantiated. Identification, specification, assessment of these factors’ functions makes it possible to deepen the knowledge on the nature of competitive relations in new market conditions. It is reasonable to use the knowledge obtained in activities of public authorities for improving institutional structures.
