Some theoretical and practical issues connected with definition of a child’s residence by the legislation of the Russian Federation

The article analyses the problems of practical and doctrinal character arising when determining a child’s residence in case of his parents’ living apart. The authors come to a conclusion that in defining a child’s residence the Russian State seeks to create necessary conditions for healthy and all-round development of the child; it tries to provide his protection against negative impacts and supports his personality development.
